Ostern 2006 - vom 13. bis zum 17. April fand in Berlin das “Rhythm Of The Line - Graffiti & Hip Hop Filmfestival" zum zweiten Mal statt. Das Hauptprogramm - 70 kurze und lange Filme - umfaßte Dokumentationen, Spielfilme und Experimentalfilme, die im Eiszeitkino in Berlin Kreuzberg gezeigt wurden. In den zwei Sälen des Kinos liefen an jedem der fünf Tage vier Blöcke, bestehend aus Kurzfilmen und Hauptfilm. Außerdem gab es vier Vorstellungen im Kreuzberger Babylon Kino, eine Gala im Festsaal Kreuzberg, eine Doppelfilmpremiere im Kino International, eine Ausstellung und Screenings im Adicolor Studio und ein Graffiti-Meeting mit Screening im Yaam am Ostbahnhof.

Das zweite ROTL Film Festival 2006 war ein voller Erfolg! Alle Vorstellungen waren gut besucht, jede dritte Vorstellung war ausverkauft. Wir hatten ein tolles, sehr gemischtes Publikum. Viele Leute sind in Filme gegangen, von denen sie vorher noch nie etwas gehört hatten. Aber, was am allerwichtigsten ist, dass wir Menschen zusammen gebracht haben, sie einen Einblick in die verschiedenen Facetten von Writing- und Hip Hop-Filmen bekamen und so ein reger Austausch über diese Kultur und ihre Filme möglich wurde.
Ein riesiges Dankeschön und großen Respekt an alle unsere Mitarbeiter, Helfer, Freunde, Unterstützer, Sponsoren und Gäste, die mit ihrer Energie und Liebe dieses Festival zu einem unvergeßlichen und einzigartigen Event gemacht haben!
Easter 2006: from the 13th-17th of April 2006 the “Rhythm Of The Line - Graffiti & Hip Hop Filmfestival” was taking place in Berlin for the second time. The main programm - 70 feature and short films: documentations, feature films and experimental films were shown at the "Eiszeit" cinema in Berlin Keuzberg. In the two rooms of the cinema, everyday four screeningblocks made up of a main film and short films were playing at all of the five days. Furthermore there were four screenings in Kreuzberg´s "Babylon" cinema, a Gala at the "Festsaal Kreuzberg", a double premiere at the cinema "International", an exhibition and screenings in the Adicolorstudio Berlin, and a Graffiti-meeting at the "Yaam am Ostbahnhof".

The second ROTL Film Festival, 2006 was a huge success! All screenings were well visited, every third screening was sold out. We had a great, very mixed audience. Many people watched filmes they had never even heard of before. But, most importantly we brought together people, who gained an insight into the many facets of Writing and Hip Hop films, so that a vivid interexchange about this culture and it´s films could take place.
A huge thank you and much respect to all staff members, helpers, supporters, sponsors and guests who with their energy and love made this festival a unforgettable and unique event!
